For instance, if you are seeking a rigid PCB with enhanced circuit thickness of ±4 mils, and with variable board thickness, we are ready to supply.

Rigid PCBs in Florida

Almost all industries require rigid PCBs. These include consumer electronics, medical, communication, and industrial. Rigid PCBs are essential where products have elements that remain fixed and must survive with high levels of stress and heat when working while maintaining product quality.

Here at Rush PCB Inc., we offer our customers high-quality rigid PCBs. We understand their requirements of low glass flow, dielectric/prepreg material for RF stackups, and exotic PCB materials including Megtron, Nelco, Rogers, FR408 HR, 370HR, and more.

We provide rigid PCBs with up to 60 layers with copper-filled vias, via-in-pad plated over, micro vias, buried vias, V-scoring, routed arrays, micro dicing, edge plating, castellation, beveled gold fingers, and more.

Flexible PCBs in Florida

Rush PCB Inc. offers a wide range of flexible printed circuit board manufacturing in Florida, with various options for coverlay and material types. Flexible PCBs are popular due to their properties of flexing and capabilities of bending without damage. They can fit into any cramped space where rigid PCBs cannot.

We encourage our customers to contact us when they are designing flexible boards and considering flexible PCB materials. Our experienced engineering team can guide you with the design parameters for achieving maximum functionality and efficiency.

We use rolled-annealed copper foils on many types of substrate materials including polyester, polyimide, and others, with liquid photo imageable and photo imageable cover coat processes. For stiffeners, we use FR-4, metal, polyimide, or customer-supplied. Our thermo-bond adhesives are of the type modified epoxy, acrylic, or phenolic butyral.

High-Density Interconnect PCBs in Florida

Rush PCB Inc. is a leader in HDI or high-density interconnect printed circuit board manufacturing in Florida. We offer state-of-the-art technical solutions in PCB manufacturing. We design and manufacture HDI PCBs with a very high density of components and interconnections within a compact form factor that helps the customer achieve unparalleled functionality, enhanced performance, and reduced size of electronic devices.

We offer advanced design and manufacturing methods to achieve high-density interconnections. Our design incorporates several layers of conductive material and dielectric substrates while increasing the routing density with blind and buried micro-vias. The complex technology allows the interconnection of complex circuitry within smaller areas. With our HDI technology, we offer:

  • Very High Component Density — modern compact electronic devices require many components in a limited area, which only HDI technology can accomplish.
  • Better Signal Integrity — For circuits that use high-speed signals, electromagnetic interference and signal loss play a vital role. Functionality-wise, HDI PCBs provide better performance and reliability, along with improved signal integrity.
  • Improved Thermal Management — Better routing density in HDI PCBs results in optimal heat dissipation and better functioning of components on the board.
  • Higher Interconnection Reliability — HDI technology achieves strong and reliable multiple-layer interconnections with blind and buried micro-vias.

PCB Assembly Services in Florida

At Rush PCB Inc., we offer all types of PCB assembly services in Florida. Our major capabilities include:

SMT PCB Assembly

Using SMC or surface mount components, it is now possible to assemble very compact but complex circuit boards. Almost all electronic equipment uses SMT or surface mount technology, especially as all electronic components are now available in their SMC packages. Another added advantage is these components can be mounted directly on the board without requiring drilled holes.

Rush PCB Inc. is a leading manufacturer and assembler of SMT PCBs in Florida and has been instrumental in supplying quality PCB assemblies with quick turn lead times. We have been assembling these top-quality boards for more than two decades, and most of our customers use our one-window service to get their boards assembled quickly.

As most SMT components are tiny, they are difficult to handle manually. Therefore, our assembly process has automated machinery to handle them. These are automated to pick up the components individually and place them at their designated places on the PCB, following a program that has been earlier input into the machine. Moreover, automated machines also deposit requisite amounts of solder paste on the board before mounting of components.

This populated board then passes into an infrared oven, which heats up the board, solder paste, and components to allow the solder paste to melt and bond the component to the board. This method is known as reflow soldering.
The entire SMT PCB assembly process is automated and operates at high speed, which means the system’s throughput is very high, and you get your boards assembled very quickly.

THT PCB Assembly

Although most industries use surface mount components for their circuit assembly, certain components need to be of the THT or through-hole technology type also. At Rush PCB Inc., we also handle boards that require mounting or through-hole components. We have automated machines for forming and mounting THT components. These components require a different system of soldering known as wave soldering.

Mixed Technology PCB Assembly

We handle PCB assemblies that use SMT and THT components simultaneously on the same board. We can mount SMT components on both sides of the board, while THT components must be mounted on one side only. Soldering these boards requires both reflow and wave soldering processes, and occasionally, we require using selective soldering.

For complex mixed technology PCB assembly, we have expert technicians for assembling through-hole components and soldering them using selective soldering. Although this is a time-consuming process, we maintain the quality.

FAQs

How is your automated process different from the traditional PCB assembly process?

Traditional PCB assembly had operators mounting individual components manually before soldering them in place. As long as these were large components, it was easy to handle them manually. Now, components are as small as a pinhead, which makes it very difficult to handle them manually. Our automated process has machines with multiple heads to pick many components at a time and mount them accurately in their required positions on the board.

Do you accept orders for small quantities of boards?

At Rush PCB Inc., we have no bar on minimum order quantity. We accept orders for single boards as well as those for thousands of boards. Our platform offers you a quote for your PCBs in minutes. We also help you determine the price of your board in higher quantities. Therefore, you can make the right decisions about pricing while accurately calculating your capital needs.

What are the different services you offer?

Our services start with circuit design, layout design, and making prototypes for you to validate. Once you have validated your design, we fabricate your boards. Then we have consignment assembly services, where we procure components according to your bill of materials and assemble them. Of course, we also accept components supplied by you for assembly. Then we test your boards and deliver them to you.

Do you undertake box-builds also?

Yes, we also help you with your box-builds. We fit the tested boards within your specified cabinet and mount the necessary electrical and mechanical hardware to complete the box build.

How do you decide the timeline of an assembly project?

An assembly project’s timeline depends on how complex the printed circuit board is, the availability of the parts, and our current workload. Depending on the complexity of the design, a project may take anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks.
